I take issue with the “Anti-Trust” laws. They are illegitimate, as they do not address the  malfeasance.  The government does   not want to shine light on the fact that it is the government themselves that are  catering to special interests, and thus tilting the level playing field of the free  market to favor some and harm others.   The only other explanation other than a tilted playing field is that a company excels, and attracts it’s high market share legitimately  

There is a 3rd possibility… that is the company is breaking a legitimate law  to get a high level of market share. If this is so then just prosecute them. End of story. Why the hell do you need these nebulous rights trampling antitrust laws?  Unless justice is not your real goal.

Either way the anti-trust laws either trample the rights of a company  that has succeeded legitimately. Or they trample a company for taking advantage of laws that congress has written.    Neither case looks like justice. It looks more like government distracting us from what they mainly do:  They criminally create ways for special interests to  have an advantage  over the competition.
Then they call it anti-trust and blame any corporation that is very successful regardless of the reason why.

The only criminals that I see in the picture are congress critters.  Not corporations.

If you will go and read the entire article on the site, you will have a pretty thorough idea of why the regulatory processes kill entrepreneurs and small business in general. It goes well beyond the issue of cannabis and carries over to nearly every endeavor known to man.

Here’s the thing, the ONLY legitimate function of government is to protect your rights. This does indeed include when another person or entity is impeding your rights. You have the right to profit from your labor. Otherwise, there is no reason to engage in labor. There are legitimate laws that have been passed and are never enforced against monopolies and too heavy of consolidation in sectors of the economy. The consolidation laws are anti-trust/anti-competition laws. Those are not enforced….Grr.

They Are Coming For Our Guns

Predictably, in the aftermath of the Las Vegas shootings (which I am convinced was another government false flag involving multiple shooters) the U.S. Congress is taking aim at our guns. Specifically, at least 16 gun control bills have been filed in Congress since the Vegas shootings. Montana Shooting Sports Association (MSSA) President Gary Marbut recently sent out this summary of current gun control bills in the U.S. House and Senate.

(Natural News) A medical study conducted at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center found that women who received flu vaccines had a weakened immune system response in subsequent years.

Lisa Christian, PhD, the lead researcher on the study, concluded, “Growing evidence shows that those who received a flu shot in the prior year have lower antibody responses in the current year.”

The study proves yet again that the official narrative of the flu shot industry — and its complicit corporate-run media — is false and deliberately deceptive. Far from offering bulletproof protection, flu shots actually make people more vulnerable to influenza infections, which of course contributes to more people catching the flu and then falsely thinking they need more flu shots for “more protection.”

Yet it is the flu shots themselves that are leading to an increase in influenza infections. The flu vaccine, in other words, perpetuates the myth that flu vaccines are needed by ensuring influenza spreads more rapidly than would otherwise occur. In effect, flu vaccines spread the very infections that generate more demand for flu vaccines. The structure is a “perfect” self-perpetuating medical hoax rooted in fake science and relentless media propaganda.

This is the main contention of my remarks today. So, what does it mean to be a “libertarian”? Perhaps it is idle of us to pose this question in the context of this conference. A “libertarian” is someone who loves human freedom (which is one and indivisible). Libertarians defend free enterprise, the creative capacity of human beings, and the spontaneous market order. Above all, libertarians abhor the organized, systematic coercion of those monopolistic agencies of violence we know as “states.” In other writings, for instance in my article, “Classical Liberalism versus Anarchocapitalism,” I have examined the reasons the state is not only unnecessary, but also highly inefficient and, more importantly, immoral, and why we must dismantle it.

So, what does it mean to say that God is a libertarian? (This is the next step.) What meaning should we attribute to this phrase or expression? It means that God, the Lord of all the universe, who has created his laws from nothing, and who therefore has absolute power over the Earth and the rest of the universe, nevertheless does not use force, but always leaves his creatures free. He gives them the freedom even to rebel against him. There are the fallen angels, for instance. These are spiritual beings who rebelled against their Creator. Facespook! Social media giant becomes arm of US intel

Facebook, the world’s top social media platform, is reportedly seeking to hire hundreds of employees with US national security clearance licenses.

Purportedly with the aim of weeding out “fake news” and “foreign meddling” in elections.

If that plan, reported by Bloomberg, sounds sinister, that’s because it is. For what it means is that people who share the same worldview as US intelligence agencies, the agencies who formulate classified information, will have a direct bearing on what millions of consumers on Facebook are permitted to access.

It’s as close to outright US government censorship on the internet as one can dare to imagine, and this on a nominally independent global communication network. Your fun-loving place “where friends meet.”

As Bloomberg reports: “Workers with such [national security] clearances can access information classified by the US government. Facebook plans to use these people – and their ability to receive government information about potential threats – in the company’s attempt to search more proactively for questionable social media campaigns ahead of elections.”

A Facebook spokesman declined to comment, but the report sounds credible, especially given the context of anti-Russia hysteria.

Over the past year, since the election of Donald Trump as US president, the political discourse has been dominated by “Russia-gate” – the notion that somehow Kremlin-controlled hackers and news media meddled in the election. The media angst in the US is comparable to the Red Scare paranoia of the 1950s during the Cold War.

Facebook and other US internet companies have been hauled in front of Congressional committees to declare what they know about alleged “Russian influence campaigns.” Chief executives of Facebook, Google, and Twitter, are due to be questioned again next month by the same panels…. Read More
