I have been on a quest to discover what it takes to be healthy for close to 40 years now. I remember that I read “sugar blues” in 1980, a book this is still very much worth reading. I went through being a vegetarian, to a vegan, to discovering Weston A Price, and then refinements of that. The learning is continuous, and I am closer to the truth than when I started. Your health is the one thing that money can not buy, and I hope that you take advantage of learning from my mistakes, and save yourself 10 or 20 years in your journey.

The things that you need to learn can be daunting and overwhelming so let me try to make it easier for those of you that want the quick and dirty way to get started. Follow the next 4 steps and you will know what took me decades to figure out:
1.) Read the Pamphlet “Principles of Healthy Diets” as 99% of you have no idea what you are putting into your body nor what you should be putting into your body. UPDATE 6-3-18 I just finished reading Deep Nutrition: Why Your Genes Need Traditional Food by Catherine Shanahan M.D. It goes into great detail as to why Weston A Price in the above pamphlet strongly advises you to avoid vegetable oils and sugars. I thought so much of this book that I have 6 copies that I keep to loan out to people. For those of you more advanced in your nutritional supplementation I suggest the following podcast and ebook:
2.) Watch the YouTube Ketogenic Diet Explained this is the information that allowed me to adapt the above Western A Price dietary guidelines to allow my body to go into Nutritional Ketosis. Watch the film and you will understand. I also highly recommend that you read Mercola’s book Fat for Fuel when you can. That information made me an expert and confident at eating a ketogenic diet. The short YouTube “Diet” by Dr Ted Naiman will further convince you of the need to eat a low carbohydrate ketogenic diet.
3.) The YouTube Dead Doctor’s Don’t Lie by Dr. Joel Wallach was actually the first thing I ran into and implemented as dietary nutritional supplementation. It’s a very deep topic, email me if you have questions and I will try to point you in the right direction. Again I will give you a short cut. Start off with taking Tangy Tangerine, an Iodine supplement, a probiotic, and essential fatty acids. here (There are less expensive ways to do this, but in the beginning just plan on spending $100 a month on supplements while you heal and continue to learn)
Since I wrote the above, Thorne has started selling to the general public. It may be the best (synthetic) multivitamin in the world if you are looking for all in one solution. Don’t get too bogged down in getting “nutritional supplements” perfectly, right. Doing something is almost always better than doing nothing, and like the rest of us you learn as you go.

One hundred years ago, Weston A Price accomplished so much that it is hard to know where to begin. He was a researcher for the A.D.A,. and had a world class staff of over 100 scientists. For 20 years he researched dentistry and discovered the extreme dangers of root canals, and focal infections, which is documented in this excellent book: “Root Canal cover-up”
He discovered that arterial deposits are caused by a shift in the ionic calcium/phosphorous ratio, caused mainly by sugar in the diet. NOT by how much cholesterol is in your diet!
Now wrap your head around the fact that the ADA has covered up all of his work! This is criminal, and has caused great harm to people’s health. None of my dentists have even heard of this scientist, and his team, and his 20 years of research that was paid for by the American Dental Association. After this career…. this amazing scientist began another 20 year career concerning nutrition, and this is where the Weston A Price foundation comes in.

Back in the 70’s he made the then outrageous claim that your average MD died at age 58. This statistic has since been proven beyond question as true,

The bottom line in this talk is that veterinarians have “cured” over 300 diseases in animals through nutrition. Why aren’t MD’s this wise?
Perhaps because the medical schools themselves were started by the pharmaceutical companies in the name of John Rockefeller, who commissioned the “Flexner Report” (and here & here) that got congress involved in our heath care, and it has been mostly all downhill from there. Certainly so in the case of degenerative diseases. US medicine is excellent at trauma, but dozens of degenerative diseases have flourished since their AMA monopoly was created..

Ben Fuchs is a Colorado pharmacist, he like all pharmacists actually know the chemical pathways that the prescription drugs affect, and the side effects. Knowing this he cautions against ever using prescription drugs, except in specific extreme conditions. Instead he relies on nutrition to maintain health, and goes into great detail as to why and how. I listened to Ben daily for about 3 years, and I learned more from him about nutrition that I have anywhere else. The first 2 links are archives. The first one is very useful as you can search his audio podcasts by keyword.
Forget everything that you have ever been told about cancer, and watch this first of a 9 part series. It may very well save your life or the life of a loved one.
