‘Wormwood’ Is an LSD-Soaked True Crime Masterpiece

Errol Morris dissects MKUltra, the CIA’s mind control experiments—and redefines the true crime genre in the process.

America loves watching true crime documentaries. There are several television channels dedicated to the subject, dozens of podcasts, and hundreds of movies. Most of them tell the story of a violent crime, then unravel its mysteries. There are variations on the theme—authorities catch a killer or don’t, the wrong person is accused, or the bad guy gets away—but they all follow a similar pattern.

Then there’s the work of director Errol Morris. He wants the audience to understand not just the crime, but the way the crime affected everyone around it, and what the story people tell about the crime says about them.

Wormwood is his new documentary miniseries on Netflix that—on its surface—it’s about LSD, the CIA, and the clandestine MKUltra project. From the early 1950s until 1973, the the CIA and the Pentagon used torture, hypnosis, and drugs such as LSD to attempt to control the human mind. It didn’t work, and the project killed Frank Olson.

Olson was a government chemist who worked on the project in its early days and, in 1953, fell to his death from the window of a New York City hotel room. The police ruled the death a suicide, but his son Eric never believed it…. Read More

British Man Cleared Of Rape After Sister In Law Finds Original Facebook Messages Were Altered By Alleged Victim

MFP commentary:
The police are incompetent?  It can’t be true!  That must be a “conspiracy theory”. (Those 2 words are my proof)

Seriously now, in my half a century plus on this planet I have never found the police to be competent, ever.  I was recently assaulted on camera in Seymour MO, yet not only could they not find a crime, they still have not contacted me.
It seems to me that the police are the real criminals in that they very often cover up real crimes.

~MFP

Danny Kay, 26, will greet the New Year as a free man after being convicted of a rape that was based on altered evidence submitted by the alleged victim.  His freedom is due not to police work but the work of his sister in law Sarah Maddison.  Maddison decided to take a minute and look at the Facebook messages sent between Kay and the unnamed woman who accused him of rape.  What she found was that the police used messages that were misleadingly edited by the woman and that the real messages directly contradicted her claims.  The police revealed an utter incompetence in the investigation and the prosecutors have expressed no intent in looking at possible charges against the woman who is accused of changing the meaning of the messages from exculpatory to incriminating.  This follows an equally shocking reversal where the police were found to have withheld 40,000 messages from the defense in another rape case.

Archived versions of the original messages found by Maddison showed not only a consensual relationship but a desire to continue the relationship.

The messages showed that the evidence had been altered in clearly misleading ways.  For example, The jury were shown a message where Kay appears to apologize for the rape.  The response “sorry” in the message however was actually in response to the woman asking him why he was ignoring her. The question was deleted.  Also deleted was her response: “Dnt [sic] be.”  Likewise, one early message involved Kay asking the woman for her age.  She responded “nearly 17” and showed police that he responded “same here.”  That was untrue.  He actually response with question if she was single and she replies “yep.”  That is what he responded to in saying “same here.”

She also deleted messages where he wrote her to say that he lost her number (after the alleged rape).  She then send him her number with four kisses and also sends a message  ‘im still here for ya!’ When the couple later split up, she sent a message “I thought u woulda at least tried to get me back.”

The court reviewed the evidence and quashed the conviction.  Kay however had already spent two years in jail.

There is no indication that the woman will face any charges for submitting what appears to be altered evidence and a false claim of rape.  She remains unidentified as a sexual assault victim. Original Story here

A Simultaneous Coup and Counter Coup Are Underway In America

Americans, as a whole, do not know and understand their history. Most importantly, Americans don’t fully understand the plot being levied against them by the Deep State and their two primary representatives, former President Obama and wannabe President, Hillary Clinton. The combination of these two subversive leaders, along with revolutionaries such as George Soros, are seeking to destroy what is left of America.  Arizona quickly became a battleground for the attempted Deep State takeover shortly after Obama was elected.

Some of Arizona’s mostly prolific politicians, seemingly everyone of political importance at that time, ranging from former Arizona Governor, Jan Brewer, to former Pinal County Sheriff,  Paul Babeu to former Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, and Arizona State Representative Russell Pearce, were engaged in fighting against the invasion of Arizona by a conglomerate of drug cartels, major terrorist organizations and corrupt proxies doing the bidding of the Deep State.

In the first two parts of this series, it was established, through a review of previously established facts, that former Maricopa County (AZ) Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, waged an endless battle against the corruption of the Obama administration beginning with Fast and Furious and fighting the Obama administration’s “Blind Eye” toward human smuggling and drug dealing in Arizona from international criminal organizations. Under Obama’s leadership, Phoenix became the human smuggling capital of the United States and Arpaio led an uphill battle against this corrupt administration.

Who will ever forget this raw exchange between Obama and then Governor Brewer on the tarmac of the airport in Mesa, Arizona?…. Read More

World Mercury Project Targeted by the AAP and IAC

By the World Mercury Project Team

American consumers, particularly parents, should be asking some hard questions about why the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) apparently have no interest in improving vaccine safety. In the face of snowballing vaccine scandals—from fudged safety trials that use other vaccines as placebos, to persistent use of neurotoxic aluminum adjuvants, to the accelerated rollout of unproven vaccines that may be causing more problems than they solve—these and other vaccine advocacy organizations are not only turning a blind eye but are actively circling the wagons while beefing up public relations (PR) intended to stifle discussion. These PR efforts are on revealing display in an April 2017 IAC webinar on “Vaccines and the New Administration” that unsurprisingly singles out the activities of the World Mercury Project and its Chairman, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.  Expressing equal parts alarm and disdain, the AAP rhetorically asks, “Vaccine safety: here we go again…?”

Due to the well-funded medical-pharmaceutical-media apparatus that endlessly repeats the mantra that all vaccines are safe for all people all the time, it is nearly impossible to get a fair hearing for common-sense questions about vaccine safety, no matter how urgent such questions may be. The biases apparent in mainstream discussions about vaccine safety have come into even sharper focus since the changeover from one political administration to the next. In February 2017, shortly after the inauguration, several hundred national and state-based organizations rushed to sign a letter lobbying President Trump to “redouble” efforts to drive up the vaccination rate. The IAC and the AAP were two signatories of that letter, which summarily dismissed concerns about vaccine risks as “disproven.” … Read More

I LOVE AMAZON

MFP commentary:

The “stupid” never seems to end…..

For example:
Amazon returns is now only authorizing a single pickup attempt, and they don’t even bother to notify the customer of this policy change. I am not in a rural area where they don’t even have to drive 10 feet out of their way to pickup a return. They come right past the house every day of the week. They even drop things off multiple times a week. Couldn’t I just hand the package to them then, rather than going to one of their pickup points? I spoke with 2 Amazon supervisors, and these people that do this for a living did not even have mental capacity to offer this as an option.

What ever happened to customer service? Their lips move, and they say they are customer centric, but when the rubber meets the road, they pee on your leg and tell you that it’s raining.
I Mentioned the fact that I was never notified of this change of policy no less than 4 times, yet their so called customer service, did not address that concern, but rather accused me of being “unprofessional” , while they peed on me. There is a psychological term for this called projection. Look it up.

Part of what precipitated this incident was that yesterday against my better judgement  I went way out of my way to a UPS return box (because they gave me no other return choice for some reason) to deposit a small package. A Fire 8 tablet. Guess what? The UPS drop off box was too small! Being a fairly good student of geometry I quickly saw the solution.. Stomp the box flat and stuff into into their *&@&# box. 🙂

Don’t these people understand that peeing on the customer will come back and hurt them? I told the Amazon service rep on the phone, while they were recording it, (in the hopes that upper management will listen to it) That I would consider a policy of from now on of instead of placing an order of say 5 things in one order, to space them out. I won’t place the order for the second item until the first one ships. That way I can cost them 2 or 3 times more in shipping costs. Perhaps you should consider this “monkey warfare” tactic.

We are not powerless folks. We have social media to out this kind of BS. And we have our brains to design strategies like I just outlined. I can think of a few others that would cost them a lot more money, but that might spoil the fun.

In closing, this is another example of what happens when people don’t speak out. Just like the fact that we have the criminal government that we now have because people do not “speak truth to power“.

Anyhow that is my little rant for the day. I am tired of constantly being raped. How about you? The cliche “I am mad as hell and am not going to take it any more” comes to mind.

My next step is to email this post to the evil Globalist Jeff Bezos with a copy
Yes Jeff many of us are awake, and know your end game. We know about your collusion with NSA, and we are not afraid of you. You can kill individuals, but you can not kill an idea, and the idea of liberty and the free market are out and Amazon is going to fall.

The bigger they are the harder they fall and I hope that I live to see your downfall Jeff.  But to tell you the truth I would rather kick you in the balls

for the  way that I have been treated by Amazon.

Where was the county sheriff?
Where were the police? Oh that’s right, trampling a citizens rights, just like
the “police” at Auschwitz prison camp did in Nazi Germany!

Not to mention “Christians” in the US are emulating the way Christians acted in Nazi Germany. (Being Silent)

And where are the “troops” Oh yea over in the Middle East, busy violating the Constitution by fighting an undeclared war….

And tell me  again about how the troops OR the police protect our rights?
It’s YOU boys and girls that protect our rights…. Not the troops. Not the police.

Apocalypse Now: 2017 Was Another Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Year [SHORT]

John is spot on as far as the very bad things that Trump is doing, but he he has  missed the extremly good things he has done.

This also  goes to show you that a guy that can make billions,  can be dumber than a door knob when it comes to our rights and police.  Mr Trump unfortunately  seems to be a cop-suker.

By John W. Whitehead December 27, 201

Link to longer unabridged version

Just our luck that 2017 gave us more of the same bad news that we’ve experienced in recent years.

Here’s just a small sampling of what we suffered through in 2017.

The new boss proved to be the same as the old boss. True to form, the new boss (Donald Trump) proved to be no better than his predecessors in the White House in terms of protecting the citizenry from the American police state.

911 calls turned deadly. “Don’t call the cops” became yet another don’t to the add the growing list of things that could get you or a loved one tasered, shot or killed by police, especially if you have any condition that might hinder your ability to understand, communicate or immediately comply with an order.

Traffic stops took a turn for the worse. Police officers were given free range to pull anyone over for a variety of reasons and subject them to forced cavity searches, forced colonoscopies, forced blood draws, forced breath-alcohol tests, forced DNA extractions, forced eye scans, forced inclusion in biometric databases.

The courts failed to uphold justice. A review of critical court rulings over the past decade or so, including some ominous ones by the U.S. Supreme Court, reveals a startling and steady trend towards pro-police state rulings by an institution concerned more with establishing order and protecting the ruling class and government agents than with upholding the rights enshrined in the Constitution.

A culture of compliance paved the way for sexual predators. Twenty years after America gave a collective shrug over accusations of sexual harassment by Bill Clinton, sexual harassment suddenly made headlines after a series of powerful men, including Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, were accused of predatory behavior in the workplace.

Patriotism trumped free speech. At a time when the American flag adorns everything from men’s boxers and women’s bikinis to beer koozies with little outcry from the American public, a conveniently timed public dispute over disrespect for the country’s patriotic symbols during football games further divided the nation.

Mass shootings claimed more lives. mass shooting in Las Vegas, the deadliest to date, left us with more questions than answers, none of them a flattering reflection of the nation’s values, political priorities, or the manner in which the military-industrial complex continues to dominate, dictate and shape almost every aspect of our lives.

Civil discourse was drowned out by intolerance, violence and militarized police. Americans allowed their fears—fear for their safety, fear of each other, fear of being labeled racist or hateful or prejudiced, etc.—to trump their freedom of speech and muzzle them far more effectively than any government edict could. In Charlottesville, Berkeley and St. Louis, the presence of violent protesters and militarized police turned First Amendment activities into riots.

The cost of endless wars drove the nation deeper into debt. Waging endless wars abroad (in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and now Syria) didn’t make America—or the rest of the world—any safer, any greater, or any richer. The interest alone on the money America has borrowed to wage its wars will cost an estimated $8 trillion.

Government agencies padded their pockets at the expense of taxpayers. In Virginia, drivers traveling along a toll road during rush hour were hit with a $40 toll to travel a 10-mile stretch of road, part of a new dynamic price gouging scheme aimed at penalizing single-occupant vehicles traveling during peak times.

The plight of the nation’s homeless worsened. In communities across the country, legislators adopted a variety of methods (parking meters, zoning regulations, tickets, and even robots) to discourage the homeless from squatting, loitering and panhandling.

Free speech was dealt one knock-out punch after another. First Amendment activities were pummeled, punched, kicked, choked, chained and generally gagged all across the country.

The Surveillance State rendered Americans vulnerable to threats from government spies, police, hackers and power failures. The Corporate State tapped into our computer keyboards, cameras, cell phones and smart devices in order to better target us for advertising. Social media giants such as Facebook granted secret requests by the government and its agents for access to users’ accounts. And our private data—methodically collected and stored with or without our say-so—was repeatedly compromised and breached.

Technology drove teens to suicide. Studies show that the rapid explosion of cell phone use and increased screen time by young people have contributed to a climate in which teen mental health is failing and suicide rates among 13- to 18-year-olds are skyrocketing.

Police became even more militarized and weaponized. Despite concerns about the government’s steady transformation of local police into a standing military army, local police agencies continued to acquire weaponry, training and equipment suited for the battlefield—with full support from the Trump Administration.

Drones became more lethal. DARPA, the government’s military research agency, unveiled a plan to deploy a swarm of armed, surveillance mini-drones. The Pentagon also provided a glimpse into its future plans for kamikaze drones and tethered, targeted killer drones.

Science got scary. Researchers created “humanized” mice using organs taken from fetal tissue. Genetic engineers created an entire synthetic DNA genome watermarked with encoded links and hidden messages. The FDA approved the first digital pill embedded with sensors to monitor patients’ intake. And DARPA funded research towards the creation of genetic extinction technologies that could be used to eradicate or alter whole populations.

The government waged a renewed war on cash. Championed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the government’s attempts to seize cash and other valuables under the guise of asset forfeiture moved into high gear. Denver made $2.4 million in car seizures in one year alone. One Alabama town turned its police force into a money-making operation to increase revenue.

The U.S. military industrial complex—aided by the Trump administration—armed the world while padding its own pockets. Not content to sell an arsenal of weapons and military equipment to the world, the U.S. government pushed to amend a global arms control agreement to allow it to sell military drones globally.

Let’s not take the mistakes and the carnage and the toxicity of this past year into a new year.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, the police state is marching forward, more powerful than ever.

Thus, if there is to be any hope for freedom in 2018, it rests with “we the people” engaging in local, grassroots activism that transforms our communities and our government from the ground up.

Let’s resolve to work together to make this new year better than the last.

So What? Christians

By Laurence M. Vance
December 26, 2017

Thanks to a note from a preacher friend, I think I’ve discovered a new type of Christian: the So what? Christian.

I have written many times about Christian jihadists, Old Testament Christians, Christian armchair warriors, theological schizophrenics, Christian Coalition moralists, nuclear Christians, Janus Christians, evangelical warvangelicals, Catholic just war theorists, reich-wing Christian nationalists, theocon Values Voters, imperial Christians, pro-lifers for mass murder, Red-State Christian fascists, bloodthirsty Christian conservatives, beam Christians, nuclear Christians, Christian Coalition moralists, double-minded Christians, Christian warmongers, God and country Christian bumpkins, sniper theologians, Christian military idolaters, conservative Christian militarists, and members of the Christian axis of evil.

The So what? Christian, when presented with some negative assertion about the U.S. government, the U.S. military, U.S. wars, or U.S. foreign policy, instead of inquiring as to its validity, doing some research, or spending more than three seconds thinking about it, dismisses it with “So what?,” usually followed by some ridiculous statement.

Here are some examples.

The U.S. military has bombed Afghan wedding parties: So what? The bride and groom were going to produce potential terrorists.

The U.S. military has killed thousands of civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan: So what? They are just collateral damage.

The United States gives billions of dollars a year in foreign aid to Israel: So what? The Jews are God’s chosen people.

The U.S. military has a thousand overseas military bases: So what? America is the exceptional nation.

The real defense budget is around a trillion dollars: So what? The military keeps us safe.

The Pledge of Allegiance was written by a socialist minister. So what? America is still one nation under God.

The U.S. military kills innocent Muslims that were no threat to the United States: So what? All Muslims are terrorists.

Inmates at Guantanamo are being held indefinitely with neither charge nor trial: So what? Terrorists don’t need trials.

U.S. soldiers have committed war crimes: So what? There’s always a few bad apples in every bushel.

U.S. soldiers recite filthy cadences in basic training: So what? I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.

The U.S. military pays sports teams for patriotic displays and troop tributes: So what? God bless America.

The United States is increasing military actions in Africa: So what? America is the greatest country in the world.

The U.S. military keeps brothels open overseas: So what? The troops are defending our freedoms.

A preemptive war against Iraq was wrong because Iraq was no threat to the United States: So what? There is “a time of war” (Ecclesiastes 3:8).

Thousands of U.S. soldiers died unnecessarily in Iraq and Afghanistan: So what? There is no greater honor than to die for your country.

Military recruiters lie to impressionable young people: So what? There is nothing more noble than military service.

Veterans are committing suicide at an alarming rate: So what? They should not feel guilty for anything they did while in service to their country.

So what? Christians. Rebuke them, chastise them, reprimand them, reprove them, castigate them, and scold them. Just don’t forget to educate them, instruct them, teach them, inform them, enlighten them, and admonish them. By all means, use the resources available at LRC. …. Read Original Story here
