I have had a poor experiences with business’s here in SW Missouri and I thought that I would write them up as I get time, and invite others to do the same. Send them to me ( at MFP at the above domain) and I will publish them under the “Consumer Business Reports” category:
I am currently thinking of writing articles on
The Fordland medical Clinic
The SAMS club south optical department and Missouri laws on this topic in general
Missouri contractors in general
A major large local blood donation center
Fordland medical clinic (single use vials etc – bad advice, standards of care)
The drivers bureau in Marshfield
The Webster County property tax office
The Seymour police department
The marshfield police and swat team
Dragon Dictate fiasco and the MO attorney general
Google mail and the MO attorney generals office.
I just finished a story about being physically assaulted and injured by a Seymour MO business owner.
11/7 Amazon kindle not working on my second smartphone, nor will kindle DL to either of my laptops. Support kept me going for 3 days on that one and never solved it. They trample your rights by attrition.
I would also like to direct the reader to RipOffReports, the only, as far as I can tell, real consumer protection site on the entire Internet that has survived the suing doctors and attorneys.
*NOTE: Don’t hold your breath for your local paper to do this, they are indebted, and thus controlled by their advertisers. Also remember that the best way to get a “bad” business to change is to shine the light of day on them.
Expose them to public scrutiny, ridicule, and scorn.
* If you witness either government or private business misconduct or criminal activity, please send your tip to MFP at the domain URL.
Having this martial arts target in my living room has brought unexpected results:
A few times when catching him in the corner of my vision, I have reflexively reached for my gun. (This is likley due to me living alone.)
I actually just told “him: that he better watch out or he was going to get shot.
You mileage may vary……
The Thursday evening news broadcasts on the “Big Three” television networks completely ignored allegations made that the Hillary Clinton campaign “rigged” the 2016 presidential primary, according to The Hill.
The network evening news broadcasts, “ABC World News Tonight,” “NBC Nightly News” and “CBS Evening News,” aren’t exactly known for their fair and unbiased reporting.
However, their complete lack of coverage of former Democratic National Committee interim Chairwoman Donna Brazile’s allegations the Clinton campaign “rigged” the 2016 Democratic nomination process made obvious they no longer care to maintain appearances of impartiality.
“I had promised Bernie when I took the helm of the Democratic National Committee after the convention that I would get to the bottom of whether Hillary Clinton’s team had rigged the nomination process,” wrote Brazile, in an except from a book just released to Politico. “By September 7, the day I called Bernie, I had found my proof and it broke my heart.” …… Read more
‘Big Three’ Networks Ignore Thursday’s Bombshell DNC Revelation
This is shocking! I tend to think that it was the fear of tyranny like this, that made the founding fathers think it important that the American people remain armed, and have a militia. Both of which our criminal government has predictably demonized. ( i.e. the 2 best weapons that we have besides jury nullification to thwart criminal/tyrannical government.)
Parents whose children have been taken from them by Child Protective Services often tell us that the system is backwards. Instead of being presumed innocent until proven guilty, everyone involved with CPS assumes guilt, even in the face of no evidence of guilt. Some jurisdictions are taking this presumption of guilt without evidence a frightening step further: they are using “predictive analytics” to see which parents MIGHT abuse or neglect their children in the future.
In several cases reported to Health Impact News, we have already seen such allegations used against parents. Social workers have literally written in their reports to the courts that a parent has characteristics that might indicate that they may abuse or neglect their child in the future, even though there is no evidence that they have harmed their child in the past.
This is reminiscent of George Orwell’s “thought police” in the dystopian novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four. It is inconsistent with one of the foundational principles underlying the U.S. Constitution, that of the presumption of innocence. Some have equated the predictive analysis model with racial profiling, because the algorithms tend to disproportionately target people who are poor or part of a minority group.
The National Coalition for Child Protection Reform recently addressed this alarming trend. ….. Read more
