The Federal government has recently made is much more difficult for the average person to access their funds once they are deposited in the bank. How can they do that, you might ask? The answer is simple, in 2012, the courts ruled that once you deposit your money in the bank, the banks own that money. In other words, you are gifting the bank. And the gift is irrevocable.
